Export everything in one click
Open Settings → Download and RetailPOS produces a single file containing every order, item, customer and receipt in your tenant. Not a sampled report, not a paid add-on, not a support ticket — your full point-in-time record, on demand.
It's available the whole time you're a customer, so you're never planning an exit months in advance or scraping screens. Your data is always one click from being in your hands.
Read-only, not deleted
If you stop paying, your tenant becomes read-only rather than being wiped. You can still log in, view your history and export the file. Data is preserved indefinitely. The difference between “you can leave” and “you can leave and take everything with you” is the whole point of this page — and the second one is what RetailPOS commits to.
The honest edge
What we control is getting your data outcleanly and completely. What we can't control is the next system's import. The export is a standard file you own, but moving to another POS still means mapping it into that vendor's importer — and some make that easier than others. We'll help you get a clean export; we can't promise a competitor will make ingesting it painless. That's honest, not a catch: your data is unquestionably yours to take.
Why we don’t hold data hostage
A POS that makes leaving hard is telling you it expects to stop being worth staying for. We'd rather compete on the product every month — which is the same reasoning behind no long-term contract and no card to start. Easy in, easy out, by design.

- Do I lose my data if I stop paying?
- No. Your tenant goes read-only and your data is preserved indefinitely — you can still view and export everything. Ringing new sales is what pauses, not access to your history.
- Is the export a full copy or a summary?
- A full point-in-time record — every order, item, customer and receipt — not a sampled report. It's your complete data, yours to keep.
- Will my data import cleanly into another POS?
- The export from RetailPOS is clean and complete, but importing it depends on the other vendor's tools, which we don't control. We'll help you get a full export; ingesting it is up to the system you move to.
