A drywall screw is fifteen cents each, twelve cents at ten, nine cents at a hundred. Same item, three price points. How a price tier works

A tier is a minimum quantity and the per-unit price at or above it. A drywall screw might have its base price, then a tier at 10 units and another at 100. Ring fewer than ten and you pay the base price; ring a hundred and every unit drops to the top-tier price.

Note:Tiers are per item, so each SKU can have its own breaks. Fasteners tend to break at 10 / 100, while washers break later at 50 / 250 — whatever matches how you buy.

Add tiers to an item

Open the item in the Catalog and set its base per-unit price.
Add a tier: a minimum quantity and the cheaper per-unit price at that quantity.
Add more tiers for deeper breaks — for example 10, then 100.

Tiers at the till

At checkout the cashier just rings the quantity. If a contractor buys 150 screws, the till applies the 100-plus tier to the whole line automatically. Nothing to remember, nothing to key by hand — and the trade counter always gets the right price.
