The kitchen display (KDS)replaces the docket printer with a screen. Orders appear the instant they’re sent from the register, the kitchen works them in order, and marking a ticket done clears it — so nothing gets lost under the pass.

Send orders to the kitchen
When an order is placed, its items route to the Kitchenscreen. Each ticket shows the items and their modifiers — “medium-rare, no onions” — exactly as rung, so the line cooks what the customer actually asked for.
Work and clear tickets
Kitchen staff pick up tickets, prepare them, and mark them done to clear them from the board. The display keeps the queue in front of the team without paper piling up.
