Service packages and add-ons
For Salon owners & managers · 5 min read · Last reviewed 2026-08-04
Two levers lift a salon’s average ticket: packages that bundle services at a keen price, and add-on treatments the stylist offers at the chair. The Salon pack ships both, ready to rename to your menu.

Service packages
A package bundles services for a set price — the seeded Cut & Colour and Mani + Pedi deals both cost less than their parts bought separately. A cashier applies one with a tap, and stock still decrements the actual services chosen.
Add-on treatments
Some services carry an Add-on treatments group — deep conditioning, a toner finish, an Olaplex bond. Each is a priced option, so picking it adds to the line total and shows on the receipt. Add the group to any service you want to upsell from.
Add-ons that move stock
A treatment can consume back-bar product too. The toner finishadd-on draws down toner when it’s chosen on a cut, blowout or colour — so the price and the stock stay in step, the same way a colour service depletes cream and developer.
Frequently asked
- Does a package still track stock and commission?
- Yes. The package sets the price, but stock depletes for the actual services chosen and each line credits the stylist on the ticket.
- Do paid add-ons show on the receipt?
- Yes. A priced add-on adds to the line total and appears on the receipt and in your reports.
- Can an add-on use back-bar product?
- Yes. The toner finish, for example, depletes toner when picked; other add-ons are labour only.
