Set up the Salon pack
For Salon owners · 5 min read · Last reviewed 2026-08-04
A salon sells time before it sells stock. Most of what you ring up is a service — a cut, a colour, a blowout — done by a named stylist. The Salon pack sets up exactly that: a catalog of services and beauty treatments, a retail shelf for shampoo and styling products, and per-stylist commission so you can see who earns what.
Colour services also draw down the back bar — a full-head colour uses cream and developer, highlights use bleach, foils and toner — so selling the service moves real stock, not a “colour” count.

Install and price your services
- Install the Salon pack on a fresh store.
- Rename the sample services — cuts, colour, beauty — to match your menu and set your prices.
- Keep the retail shelf items (shampoo, conditioner, styling wax) and adjust prices for what you actually stock.
What to set up next
- Stylists & commission — attribute each service to the stylist and pay commission on it.
- Packages & add-ons — cut-and-colour bundles and paid treatment add-ons.
- Back bar & retail — colour products that deplete on service, plus your retail shelf.
Attach the client
Attach the customer to the ticket so their visits and any spend build a history you can look back on. It also lets you accrue loyalty points on the sale.
Frequently asked
- Does the Salon pack include online booking?
- No. It is the point-of-sale side — services, retail, packages, back-bar stock and commission. Keep your existing booking tool for the calendar.
- What currency does it use?
- The Salon pack seeds in euros by default. Set your store currency when you create the store and prices follow.
